Would you describe this as "green and gnarly"? ;)

The engine—only maybe—but does it make sense to sell a fully-depreciated boat unless storage is costly? (Usually, it would just be the periodic cost of new tires).

Sell the engine, trailer the boat to Wolfeboro, then store the boat inverted in the woods somewhere—then sell the trailer.
When things start looking up again, put it back in the water.

Any Boston Whaler is like gold!

Well it has been a thought. I'd love to keep it. And am looking at every way to do so.
Lack of home for it is the only reason to sell.
I've loved this boat since I was 9. Now I have it since 2001 and my one son would kill me if I sold it, it's the perfect boat for what we do with it.
One reason the price is what it is. I actually have two motors for it. a 9.9 Evinrude and the 25hp Johnson. I would keep the 9.9 and sell for 5K the rest inculding a tube and raft , life preservers etc...
2 batteries gas tanks and all. But don't want to.
Currently it is stored at my sister-in-laws, eviction notice may happen so it's for sale. 5K.
I'd like to store it someplace but have currently not enough income at this point to pay for storage which seems like forever to re-gain.
Now being in the large orange box, once I work my way beyond Dept Mgr. it may be possible for me to transfer to another big orange box in NH and bring it with me.
I've only been SOL since Nov 05, and I'm not letting the grass grow under my feet-
Been in the orange box less than a year and have gone from a cashier to Dept MGR! I'm not stopping. oh it's not good - but I'm doing the best with my lemons I can.
Next up lemon pie.
I've got the lemon-aid going now.
Ok maybe thats to much info. so what.
SMILE your not on candid camera.
